48V AMR Battery-Swap System Design Solution
I. Project Background
with the rapid development of warehousing and logistics, intelligent manufacturing, pharmaceutical distribution, cold chain logistics and other industries, the application of Autonomous Mobile robots (AMR, Autonomous Mobile Robot) in these fields is increasingly widespread. Through autonomous navigation, environmental perception and intelligent decision-making, AMR can efficiently complete tasks such as cargo handling and distribution, greatly improving operation efficiency and reducing labor costs. With the popularization of AMR, how to provide efficient and convenient power supply solutions has become an urgent problem in the industry.
In the power system of AMR, the battery, as its core component, directly affects the running efficiency and endurance of the robot. The traditional charging method has the problems of long charging time and high charging frequency, which leads to the decrease of the working efficiency of AMR during use. Therefore, it is particularly important to design an efficient power exchange system. II. System design objectives

III. System composition
1. Change power station
switching power station is the core part of the whole 48v AMR switching system, which mainly consists of the following parts:

battery storage area: it is used to store the rechargeable backup battery to ensure that AMR can quickly replace the battery when needed.

Power Exchange manipulator: automatic equipment is used to complete the disassembly and installation of AMR batteries to ensure efficient and accurate power exchange process.

2. Battery management system (BMS)

the control system realizes the communication between the power exchange station and AMR, directs AMR to automatically enter the power exchange station when the battery needs to be replaced, and coordinates the work of the power exchange manipulator. 4. Human-computer interaction interface
the human-computer interaction interface provides operators with friendly operation experience, which facilitates the staff to monitor and manage the working status of the switching power station. At the same time, the interface can display important information such as the charging status and remaining power of the battery.
IV. System workflow

AMR arrives at switching station: When the battery power of AMR is lower than the set value, AMR automatically navigates to the switching station.

Automatic recognition: the sensor of the power exchange station recognizes the arrival of AMR, and the control system issues an instruction to start the power exchange manipulator.

Battery Replacement: the manipulator removes the old battery of AMR and installs the charged new battery to AMR.

Status Monitoring: During the battery replacement process, BMS monitors the status of the battery in real time to ensure safety.

Complete subsequent tasks: After the power exchange is completed, AMR will continue to perform its tasks to ensure business continuity.
